Bailey's Local Foods is pleased to bring you a line of deli meats that is guaranteed local. The spices and marinades are not from local ingredients but the meats are raised, slaughtered and butchered within 100 miles of Waterloo. In partnership with Stemmler Meats and Cheese, Bailey's Local Foods researched the origins of the meats and the locations of the slaughterhouses to find all-local meats that Stemmler's then marinates and/or cures to produce high-quality deli meats. We offer a black forest ham and a roast beef. See descriptions below.

The 100 mile Black Forest Ham is from hogs raised by Old Order Mennonite farmers near St. Jacobs and slaughtered by the Weber family at Reist and Weber near St. Jacobs. 100 Mile Black Forest Ham has no msg, no gluten, no allergens.
100 Mile Roast Beef -- All Natural
How Local? 72 miles from Uptown Waterloo.
Raised and slaughtered by the Heleniak family of Norpack Beef near Norwich, ON, this beef is raised all-naturally with no antibiotics or steroids - ever. It is grass-fed until 100 days before slaughter when it is given an all-corn diet (no animal by-products). 100 Mile Roast Beef has no nitrates, no msg, no gluten, no allergens.
